Project overview
Nessle is an online directory connecting new and expectant parents with perinatal experts for evidence-based, virtual learning and one-on-one remote counseling on the topics that matter most during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, & early childhood. Nessle provides support through 20-minute video chat with a certified lactation consultant, a late-night call with a postpartum doula, or group sessions that answers burning questions with practical, evidence-based guidance. Nessle's vision is more supported parenthood marked by caring, connection, and learning.
Challenge
There were no better ways for new and expectant parents to get the tailored guidance they needed, free of judgmental trolls and outdated advice; but it's still not easy finding an answer when you are looking through so many articles or blog posts online with conflicting information on each subject matter - especially something as sensitive topic like birth.
Design process
By understanding the requirements & features that are desired by the client, a thorough research is made on perinatal care, parenthood and how new parents struggle finding answers online when they have questions related to perinatal care. Then using these findings, wireframes are designed, discussed and then finally an interactive prototype was made.
Final result
Two responsive interactive prototypes are designed for parents and perinatal experts, where parents are able to have their own unique questions and challenges addressed by certified experts on their own time and turf. And experts can connect with new clients, diversifying their offerings, making extra income on flexible schedules, and growing their reach.
